Our Mission
Coral Reefs 101 Foundation's mission is to educate the public on the importance of our coral reef ecosystems and their impact on our daily lives. The foundation will promote environmental ethics to preserve our oceans ecosystems. The focus of our organization is to raise funds to build desperately needed man-made reefs. We have adopted the ideology, “think globally, act locally”.

To accomplish our mission Coral Reefs 101 Foundations Board of Directors developed the following objectives:
- The foundations focus is to raise funds for the construction of the “Save Our Reefs” project. This project will send the most visible message ever to call attention to the catastrophic events taking place in our oceans today.
- We will strive to educate our community on the dangers facing our coral reef ecosystems, and viable ways to preserve the natural reef systems and ultimately minimize the negative human impact.
- To increase the public’s awareness concerning the importance of natural and manmade reef systems, and the impact they have on our oceans.
- Establish an underwater learning platform and monitoring area on the reef for continued education and research. A percentage of every dollar raised will be dedicated to research the impact of manmade reef systems on our oceans.
- Continue to support our military veterans wounded during the line of duty by incorporating scuba into their rehabilitation process.
- Provide an opportunity for those heroes to work with the youth in our community by providing positive role model experiences and mentorship.
- We will work with community leaders to maximize the economic growth that natural and manmade reefs can bring to our local economy.
